Bill meets wildlife in Borneo and Indonesia to tell the story of Darwin's rival Wallace.
The comedian heads to Indonesia to follow in the footsteps of Victorian naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace, who devised the theory of evolution through natural selection independently of Charles Darwin. Bill encounters orang-utans, flying frogs and extraordinary bugs on a mission to understand how Wallace came up with his idea, and tries to win him the recognition he deserves.
The comedian continues his journey retracing the footsteps of Victorian naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace by heading to Indonesian archipelago the Moluccas, formerly known by the nickname of the Spice Islands. There Bill encounters boggle-eyed tarsiers, monkeys with Mohican hairstyles and spectacular birds of paradise on his mission to understand how Wallace devised the theory of evolution independently of Charles Darwin.
