The Jury is a British television serial broadcast in 2002. The series was the first ever to be allowed to film inside the historic Old Bailey courthouse.
It's the first day of a new trial, in which schoolboy Duvinder Singh is accused of a shocking murder. Jury members are preparing for the stress of this high profile case.
On the second day of the highly publicised trial, the jurors encounter the media hype and Duvinder suffers abuse at the hands of one of the prison wardens.
It is Duvinder's first day in the witness box. Rose gets up early, trying not to wake her husband, and creeps out of the bedroom to pack her bag for another day in court.
In the Young Offenders Prison, Duvinder is taunted about the approaching cross examination by the prosecution QC who is known as a bully.
Jeremy takes the boys to school - their clothes are ragged, and he feels ashamed. On the spur of the moment, he phones Mark Waters and tells him his decision.
Eddie finds Johnnie in a terrible state. Meanwhile, Rose packs her bag to leave the house again. Will she return? The jury deliver their verdict on Duvinder.
